1.) These two, and their window-smushed kisses. Actually, any of their kisses will do.
2.) Hannah's tiny little "uh oh," which she says a million times a day. I never get tired of it. I do get tired of fetching whatever she has pitched onto the ground to prompt the "uh oh," but even when she says it for no reason, it sounds so precious and I can't get enough.
3.) Taking pictures of my family, which I can't seem to do enough of. I was relentless about getting a new camera about 3 1/2 years ago when I got my first DSLR, and I'm pretty sure Chris only gave in because he was so sick of hearing about it. But just look at these faces! Photography is such a rewarding hobby. I truly delight in filling up my camera trying to capture all of the personality, expressions and life pouring out of these two.
I had other favorites that I planned to mention, but being Mother's Day, my mind is only on my kids. I got the idea for these pictures over at Delia Creates, and trust me when I say I have a dozen more hilarious ones. But really how could I use any other pictures or talk about anything other than these babes with photos like these floating around?
I was so sad to have spent Mother's Day the past two years away from Jayce. One year I was in Germany, and the next year in the hospital (with Hannah) while Jayce was in Kentucky. But this Mother's Day we were all together, and I'm feeling happy and blessed.
Linking to Miscellaneous Monday.
