Kiddos and Skype

After Hannah started rolling last week, Mom demanded to see for herself via Skype.

I set up the computer on the floor so that she could show off her moves. Jayce joined in and brought his computer too.

Hannah rolled and then watched Grandma and Chelsea on the screen. Jayce watched until he realized that he could see himself in the bottom corner, and started sticking out his tongue and moving in on the screen.

A minute later Hannah spit up all over the blanket and that was about the end of it.

A good time was had by all, and these pictures crack me up.

Video Love

I haven't posted videos of Jayce in a while and I think it is definitely time. He's become a little singing machine these past few months, often bursting into songs that we didn't even know that he knew! Last week Jayce was in a particularly sassy mood and was actually performing on demand, so I was able to catch some of my favorites in full (for the most part) and on video!

My favorites are Jesus Loves Me (particularly sweet), and Twinkle Twinkle, in which the star shines "like a dino."

Performing

Chris and Jayce have a little game that they invented one day while I was out taking pictures for something. Basically, they gather up all of the pillows in the house, make a huge pile just off of our bed and jump into them.

They started into this game the other day, even though they weren't alone, and then called Mom, Chelsea and I all in to watch. But Jayce wanted the stage all to himself, instructing Chris to sit down with us to watch instead of egging him on and suggesting new jumps.

There is a bellyflop, a summersault, dives and "very very high" jumps. I'm probably missing some. I have to admit, I was pretty impressed with the air that he got in these pictures! We were all cracking up, especially him. He doesn't normally have such a large and captive audience.

Sweet Birthday Songs

When Chris and Jayce sang happy birthday to me last week, I was surprised that Jayce knew the words and tempo, he was really good at it! Actually, it was pretty stinkin' adorable, especially given how cute any songs are out of kids this age. So I got him to sing to me again on camera. I have 2 versions, a "Happy To You" and a "Happy Birthday Mo-om." They are both perfect.
