One of the prizes that Jayce won at the Easter egg hunt last week was a few egg coloring and decorating kits. We hadn't done this with Jayce before, so after lunch and all of the festivities were over, Chris and Jayce dove into it.
I know I have said this before, but there is something so fun in seeing your kid's reaction to little traditions and festivities. It's been such a pure joy to see Jayce's eyes light up at a brightly lit Christmas tree, fireworks in the sky, a counter top full of red and pink heart cookies, and green grass full of brightly colored eggs. This was another one of those sweet experiences. As far as he was concerned, the whole egg dying process couldn't have been any cooler.

It's so fun to have an (almost) 3 year old, and be able to live out the fun and excitement of these sorts of things through their eyes. Looking back through the pictures makes me want to go dye some eggs.
